Day 33 - Making Shirts in Sumanya

So Andrew and I have wanted to have some Ghanaian shirts made before we go home. Ankrah, a Burro employee, has a tailor that he recommended. So this morning we got up and headed out to Sumanya to meet with the tailor. We got all measured up, purchased the fabric, and now all we have to do is wait. While we were there, Andrew played dress-up with some of Ankrah's clothes!!!

Can't you just imagine Andrew up on a wall preaching

Check out the look on Andrew's face

Out in the market looking for material

Tonight we went out to the Capitol View hotel for dinner and to watch the US World Cup match. Although I am not much of a soccer fan, it was somewhat interesting to watch. The Ghanians love their soccer. As we were out in Sumanya today, we passed several groups of people who were huddled around a small tv watching the games. Whenever there is a big play, you will hear all of the people in the street cheering. I can't imagine how it would be if Ghana were to win the World Cup.

That's so cool that you got shirts made for you where you had to be measured and everything!
